Rita Platt

Rita Platt is a compassionate and experienced Licensed Professional Counselor dedicated to supporting individuals through overwhelming life events and relational challenges. She understands how it feels to be stuck, anxious, or invisible, and her approach involves walking alongside clients on their journey towards hope and reconnection to self and others. With expertise in treating trauma, including relational trauma, Rita is certified as a clinical trauma professional, committed to guiding clients on their road to healing. She works with preteens, teens, adults, couples, and families, offering a warm and welcoming environment for therapy. Rita specializes in anxiety, mood concerns, depression, relational difficulties, significant stress, ADHD, family dysfunction, and spiritual issues. Utilizing a variety of modalities, including Expressive Arts, Somatic therapy, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), she tailors treatment to each person's specific needs.
