Time to Fly is a dedicated faith-based organization in Elkridge, MD, committed to empowering survivors of domestic violence and helping them reclaim their self-worth and identity. Our comprehensive free 3 Step program is designed for women and children in Northern Virginia, Washington, DC, and Maryland, offering a multitude of essential services including counseling, parenting and nutrition education, daily life skills training, financial management, computer classes, and spiritual support. Participants engage in workshops that cover critical topics such as understanding the roots of domestic violence, recognizing the effects of abuse, exploring God's plan for their lives, and discovering available resources for a fresh start. Additionally, our After Care Program provides ongoing spiritual and emotional support, while life-skills workshops ensure practical knowledge in managing finances, parenting, and accessing referral networks for housing, childcare, and employment assistance. We warmly welcome clients, providing childcare during our quarterly sessions, which accommodate up to 50 women and 15 children at a time, as we work together towards healing and transformation.
