Mario Conliffe

Mario Conliffe, Ph.D., LCPC, NCC, is a dedicated counselor who understands the weight of feelings such as hopelessness, depression, anger, and anxiety. He offers a compassionate listening ear to those overwhelmed by life's circumstances or struggling with drug or alcohol addiction, as well as those feeling the strains of family dysfunction. With expertise in working with individuals (ages 15+), families, and couples, Mario addresses a range of issues including relationship problems, substance abuse, and stressful life transitions. His training in pastoral counseling allows him to respond to clients' spiritual and existential concerns when desired. Mario's therapeutic approach is characterized by compassion, humor, and empathy, drawing mainly from Motivational Interviewing, Psychodynamic, Gestalt, and Person-Centered therapies. He is committed to helping clients discover healthy coping mechanisms in a trustworthy environment where new patterns of thinking and behavior can flourish.
