Early Head Start

Early Head Start in Edgewater, MD, is a dedicated federally funded program designed to support pregnant women and children from birth to age three. Our mission is to foster optimal child development and strengthen parent-child relationships through personalized and developmentally appropriate programming. We offer a variety of service options: our Center-Based services provide enriching early learning experiences in a nurturing environment, while our Home-Based services focus on weekly visits that empower parents to actively support their child's growth. Additionally, our Family Child Care services deliver education and care in a family-like setting, and our Combination services integrate both home and center-based approaches for comprehensive support. We also address essential areas such as nutrition, health and safety, mental health, and child development, with transportation available for families in southern Anne Arundel County to ensure access to our services.
