In the heart of Derwood, MD, the Hughes Mid County Consolidation Hub, a collaboration between Hughes United Methodist Church and the Montgomery County Department of Health and Human Services, is dedicated to providing vital food assistance and essential items to community members affected by the pandemic. Our welcoming hub offers drive-in and walk-in food distributions every Tuesday at 10:30 AM, ensuring that those in need have access to emergency food services. Additionally, we conduct monthly diaper distributions by appointment, which can be conveniently requested online. We are here to support you with the resources you need during these challenging times.
