Grocery Assistance Program (GAP)

The Grocery Assistance Program (GAP) in Derwood, MD, is dedicated to providing essential food assistance to individuals who can no longer shop for themselves. Our compassionate volunteers support clients by handling grocery shopping and delivery, ensuring that those in need receive nutritious food without any service charge; clients only pay for the groceries purchased. GAP prioritizes the well-being of our community by serving those who receive home-delivered meals as well as seniors aging in place who require additional help with grocery shopping. Our mission is to foster independence and enhance quality of life through reliable, caring assistance.
