Helene Diop

Helene Diop is a highly qualified Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) and LCADC Board-Approved Supervisor in the State of Maryland. With a rich background, Mrs. Diop has provided therapy and support to individuals, couples, and families across three continents—Europe, North America, and South America—as well as in various states within the United States. Her extensive cross-cultural training and experiences enable her to recognize that life's challenges can often be resolved by effectively bridging a person's worldview with their unique context. Mrs. Diop is known for personalizing her treatment approaches to align with the specific needs and strengths of each client. She firmly believes that the principle of 'one size fits all' is not the most effective practice in psychotherapy. Additionally, she has significant experience in addressing legal-related issues within families and individuals, such as Drug Court and Mental Health Court.
