Carolyn Curcio, LICSW, brings over twenty years of experience and a wealth of expertise to her therapeutic practice. Her flexible, interactive, and engaged style is tailored to meet the individual needs of each client, whether they are teens, adults, or elders. Carolyn collaborates with clients to determine the frequency and duration of therapy, offering both short-term solutions for life transitions or crises and longer-term support to navigate longstanding emotional pain and complex relationship patterns. With a background in teaching and supervising psychotherapy students at the Washington School of Psychiatry and the Psychoanalytic Training Institute of the Contemporary Freudian Society, Carolyn is deeply committed to the mental health field. She specializes in a variety of issues, including bipolar disorder, trauma and PTSD, anxiety, and relationship challenges, utilizing modalities such as attachment-based and family systems therapy to create a supportive and understanding environment for all clients.
