MOVE! Weight Management Program

MOVE! Weight Management Program, located in Cambridge, MD, is dedicated to enhancing the health and well-being of Veterans through comprehensive weight management and health promotion strategies. We aim to annually screen every Veteran receiving care at VA facilities for obesity and connect them to personalized weight management services that align with their individual needs and preferences. Our diverse range of support options includes group sessions, telephone lifestyle coaching, and TeleMOVE!, which allows for in-home messaging and clinician support as needed. For those looking for a more self-directed approach, our MOVE! Coach mobile app provides tools for personal weight management. Additionally, we offer access to weight loss medications and bariatric surgery for Veterans who require further assistance after trying MOVE!
