Shanna McGusty, LCSW-C, understands that learning to balance the stresses of everyday life can be challenging, often impacting mental health and making self-care feel like a low priority. Her mission is to work collaboratively with individuals, specifically teens and adults, to set realistic goals that empower them to prioritize themselves, cultivate self-awareness, and reduce self-doubt. Through her integrated therapeutic approaches, which include mindfulness, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), motivational interviewing (MI), and other modalities, Shanna aims to uncover the values that contribute to barriers in her clients' growth. While acknowledging that change takes time and effort, she partners with her clients to develop the strategies they need to become the best versions of themselves, fostering skills to enhance intentional living. With her specialization in women's issues, anxiety, and self-esteem, alongside years of experience working with children and families facing depression and PTSD, Shanna is committed to guiding clients on their unique journeys. She believes that nurturing the mind, body, and spirit is essential for personal peace and balance, which ultimately allows individuals to give more to others when they first take care of themselves.
