Joann Proctor

Joann Proctor understands the importance of being heard during these challenging moments. She completed her Bachelor of Arts degree in Counseling Psychology at Washington Bible College and earned her Master of Arts degree in Counseling Psychology from Bowie State University. Licensed by the State of Maryland as a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor, Joann is a proud member of the American Association of Christian Counselors. Her extensive experience includes roles as a group facilitator, parent educator, and family support advocate for families in crisis. She has also served as a case manager, taught anger management classes, and worked with the Family Crisis Center of Prince George's County to support male and female victims of domestic violence. Joann specializes in areas such as Christian counseling, grief and loss, anxiety, stress, depression, conflict resolution, post-traumatic stress disorder, and women's issues, providing compassionate support to those in need.
