Jolie Golomb

Jolie Golomb, LCSW-C, LICSW, is a compassionate Clinical Social Worker and Therapist dedicated to creating a safe and supportive environment for her clients to explore their inner selves. With a focus on building connection and trust, she facilitates open discussions surrounding identity, wishes, feelings, and conflicts, empowering individuals to make informed choices for navigating their lives. In times of crisis, Jolie provides essential support to help clients regain their previous levels of functioning, using these moments as opportunities for personal enrichment. With expertise in addressing issues such as depression, anxiety, relationship challenges, cross-cultural concerns, divorce, and parenting mood-disordered children, she brings invaluable experience from her background in psychiatric hospitals, where she worked with a wide variety of mental illnesses. Jolie also leads a group for parents of young adults facing life challenges, demonstrating her understanding of the complex frustrations related to mental illness and addiction. Her psychoanalytic training through the New York Freudian Society, along with her participation in a peer consultation group for the past 20 years, bolsters her therapeutic approach. Additionally, Jolie's lived and academic experiences in Spain, France, and Russia enhance her capability to work comfortably with diverse cultures.
