Patches of Light is dedicated to providing vital financial assistance to families in Berlin, MD, who are navigating the overwhelming challenges of catastrophic health issues and financial strains. Our services include support for utility bills, housing costs, and grocery and gas cards, aimed at alleviating some of the immediate burdens these families face. To maintain confidentiality and ensure the integrity of our program, applications for assistance must be submitted by hospital staff who are involved with the child’s care; families are not permitted to apply directly. We kindly ask that once an application is submitted, a follow-up email be sent to confirm its receipt, as this helps us streamline our processes and respond more effectively.
