MOVE! Weight Management Program

MOVE! Weight Management Program, located in Beltsville, MD, is dedicated to enhancing the health and well-being of Veterans through tailored weight management and health promotion services. Our mission is to ensure that every Veteran receiving care at VA facilities is screened for obesity annually, connecting them with the appropriate resources designed to meet their unique needs and preferences. We offer a variety of options including group sessions, personalized telephone lifestyle coaching, and TeleMOVE! that provides in-home messaging and support as required. For Veterans seeking self-guided approaches, the MOVE! Coach mobile app is available. Additionally, for those who require more intensive help after trying our initial strategies, we also offer weight loss medications and bariatric surgery.
