Located in Beltsville, MD, CORE offers vital financial assistance for families working in the restaurant industry who are facing economic challenges due to illness or medical emergencies. We understand the hardships that come with balancing work and caregiving, and our program is designed to provide compassionate support to those in need. Our financial assistance covers essential expenses such as rent or mortgage, utilities, funeral costs, medical bills and supplies, therapy, as well as travel and food expenses related to hospital visits. Additionally, we help with childcare needs, including diapers and formula, ensuring families can focus on what matters most during difficult times. Former grant recipients can seek reapplication after a 12-month period and may qualify for support related to the same or new medical conditions, with a lifetime assistance cap of $7,500.
