Christy Parsons, LGPC, understands that every stage of life presents unique challenges and obstacles. While many can navigate these challenges with grace, sometimes support is needed, and that is perfectly acceptable. Christy works with children, teens, adults, and families facing a wide array of issues, including anxiety, depression, adjustment disorders, ADHD, autism, LGBTQ+ issues, behavioral challenges, school-related concerns, and racial and cultural identity matters. Her compassionate approach extends to parenting, trauma, divorce, grief, and college and career counseling, among others. With 25 years of experience as a teacher and school counselor, Christy now specializes in guiding school-age children, teens, parents, teachers, and professionals who interact with young individuals. She believes that while there may not be a single solution to every problem, all meaningful change begins with compassion. Christy is dedicated to listening, understanding, and supporting her clients as they discover the best paths toward their desired transformations. She offers both in-person counseling and teletherapy to accommodate a diverse range of needs.
