Portia Rouse

Portia Rouse, a licensed clinical social worker and therapist, leads Minds Over Matter LLC, where she provides virtual individual, group, and family therapy, along with supervision for LMSWs in the State of Maryland. Known for her unique title of SOULcial Worker, Portia dedicates her practice to helping clients heal from the core of their being. The philosophy embraced by Minds Over Matter focuses on delivering comprehensive services intertwined with workshops, trainings, webinars, and speaking engagements geared towards enhancing mental health awareness and self-care, particularly emphasizing the importance of Black mental health wellness. Portia understands that individuals already possess the tools for healing but may need additional support to realize and harness them.
