The Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), also referred to as the Food Supplement Program (FSP) in Maryland, is dedicated to supporting low-income individuals and families in Baltimore by providing vital food assistance. Our mission is to ensure that everyone has access to the nutritious food they need for a healthy lifestyle. Through monthly benefits delivered via an easy-to-use Electronic Benefit Transfer (EBT) card, similar to a debit or credit card, SNAP/FSP helps households purchase essential groceries and maintain balanced nutrition.
