John Persampiere

Dr. John Persampiere is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist and the founder of the Annapolis Child and Family Therapy Center. He specializes in working with individuals of all ages including children, adolescents, and adults, addressing a broad spectrum of mental health and family relationship concerns. Among the challenges he adeptly handles are depression, anxiety, ADHD, OCD, tics, Tourette's, trauma, behavioral issues, and family dynamics. Dr. Persampiere employs a collaborative approach, viewing all clients as equal partners in the journey toward healing. His expertise spans various effective therapies including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Couple and Family Therapy models. Previously, he served as the Associate Director at a prominent Child Psychology clinic at the Kennedy Krieger Institute and held a faculty position at the esteemed Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, where he continues to teach doctoral-level courses.
