Temporary Financial Assistance (TFA)

The American Legion's Temporary Financial Assistance (TFA) program, serving families in Annapolis, MD, is dedicated to providing critical support to minor children of active duty service members and American Legion members. Our mission is to ensure that families have access to the resources they need in times of crisis, offering one-time, non-repayable cash grants of up to $1,500. These funds are designed to assist with essential needs such as shelter, food, utilities, and health expenses, helping to create a stable environment for children during challenging times. Eligible families undergo a thorough assessment to confirm the legitimate need and ensure all other assistance avenues have been explored.
