Senior Food Baskets

At Senior Food Baskets in Abingdon, MD, we are dedicated to providing essential food assistance to seniors in need. Our program packs and distributes a well-rounded selection of groceries, including protein, non-perishable items, and fresh fruits and vegetables, helping to nourish the bodies and spirits of over 250 local seniors each month. On the fourth Thursday of every month, our committed team gathers at 9:00 am in McComas Hall to prepare these vital food packages, ensuring that our senior neighbors receive the support they deserve. With deliveries taking place from 11:00 am to 5:00 pm, we warmly connect with our elderly friends through this important initiative, reinforcing our mission to alleviate food insecurity within the community.
