Kathleen Waite, LMHC, is a dedicated child and adolescent therapist who is deeply passionate about guiding young individuals through the complexities of growing up in today’s unpredictable world. She creates a warm and supportive environment where children and teens can safely explore their feelings, develop essential coping skills, and build resilience. Kathleen's expertise encompasses a broad age range, specializing in working with children as young as six through to adolescents. She adeptly addresses challenges such as anxiety, depression, ADHD, autism, and trauma, using a blend of therapeutic modalities including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), and Play Therapy. With training in Exposure Response Prevention (ERP) for Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder and trauma, Kathleen combines various strategies—play, art, and person-centered interventions—to harness the unique strengths of each young individual.
