Women, Infants and Children (WIC)

The Women, Infants and Children (WIC) Program in West Roxbury, MA, is dedicated to promoting the health and well-being of families by providing essential food assistance and nutrition education at no cost to qualifying residents. Our mission is to ensure that pregnant and breastfeeding women, as well as children under the age of five, receive the vital resources they need for optimal growth and development. At WIC, we offer personalized nutrition consultations, healthy food options, breastfeeding support, and referrals to medical and dental care, health insurance, childcare, and other critical services—fostering a supportive environment for all caregivers, including fathers, grandparents, and legal guardians. Everyone is welcome to apply, regardless of work status, and eligibility is automatically granted to those receiving TAFDC, SNAP, or MassHealth Standard.
