Baby Steps

Located in West Roxbury, MA, Baby Steps is dedicated to supporting the developmental and nutritional needs of former premature infants and those with complex newborn experiences. As part of the Division of Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrics at Boston Medical Center, our multidisciplinary clinic includes a skilled team of developmental and behavioral pediatricians, occupational therapists, and two expert dietitians. We provide comprehensive developmental evaluations and nutritional assessments, ensuring tailored recommendations for necessary developmental services, nutritional plans, and medical management. For families facing challenges with feeding or weight gain, our compassionate dietitian conducts home visits to observe feeding practices and prescribe personalized feeding strategies. We also offer specialized feeding assessments for infants encountering specific feeding difficulties. At Baby Steps, we prioritize ongoing follow-up care as required, fostering a nurturing environment where families can access vital community services and resources, all aimed at promoting the healthy growth and development of their children.
