Janine Reardon

Janine Reardon, LMHC, is an accomplished counselor with over 25 years of experience in the helping professions. With a foundation as a Licensed Practical Nurse and Registered Dental Hygienist, she brings a unique bio-psycho-social lens to her work as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor. Janine's approach is direct yet empathetic, meeting clients wherever they may be on their life's journey. She holds a deep belief in the resiliency of the human spirit and the capacity for meaningful change. Having worked in an adolescent residential setting and with adult men in the Massachusetts Department of Corrections, Janine eventually transitioned to private practice, where she specializes in supporting older adolescents and adults. Her clients often include those in recovery or contemplating recovery, as well as individuals seeking self-empowerment and guidance through life's challenges. Janine possesses expertise in addressing issues such as depression, anxiety, mood disorders, and family systems concerns, in addition to supporting at-risk adolescents and adults. Emphasizing a strong therapeutic connection, Janine employs an eclectic approach to treatment, utilizing cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), mindfulness strategies, person-centered techniques, and humanistic and existential interventions to help individuals identify and transform their personal patterns of behavior.
