Women, Infants, and Children (WIC)

The Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) Supplemental Food Program in Stoughton, MA, is dedicated to nurturing healthy food habits among low-income pregnant, postpartum, and breastfeeding women, as well as infants and children up to five years old. WIC offers vital nutrition education and counseling tailored for families, alongside comprehensive breastfeeding support, including guidance, educational resources, and essential supplies like breast pumps. Participants receive a convenient debit card to purchase nutritious foods such as milk, whole grains, beans, cereals, and fresh fruits and vegetables, allowing our counselors to assist in creating personalized food packages to meet the unique needs of each family. Additionally, WIC connects families with critical community programs including SNAP, housing assistance, daycare, dental care, clothing, and fuel assistance. If you currently receive TAFDC, SNAP, or MassHealth, you are automatically income eligible for our program, and we are proud to extend eligibility to foster children under the age of five.
