Cheryl Rosenthal, PsyD, warmly welcomes individuals new to therapy or those returning to focus on different areas of their lives. With a rich background in clinical mental health counseling from Lesley University, Cheryl has extensive experience assisting adults in navigating challenges such as anxiety, depression, grief, relationship dynamics, career transitions, and issues related to spirituality and gender/sexuality. She is particularly skilled at guiding clients through complex decisions surrounding love and work. Cherishing the transformative process of listening closely and observing change, Cheryl provides clients with practical skills to foster growth and healing effectively. She appreciates both short-term, solution-focused therapy and long-term engagement, helping individuals deepen their self-understanding and enhance their connections with others. Utilizing a blend of cognitive-behavioral therapy—which explores the connection between thoughts and mood—and mindfulness-based techniques, Cheryl tailors her approach to facilitate meaningful change. Her academic exploration of humor and sexuality informs her holistic practice. Outside of her clinical work, Cheryl reflects on the essence of citizenship in today’s world, often while enjoying walks with her two big dogs.
