LIVESTRONG at the YMCA

LIVESTRONG at the YMCA in Shrewsbury, MA, is dedicated to empowering adult cancer survivors to reclaim their health and vitality. As part of the YMCA of Central Massachusetts, we are unified in our mission to strengthen our communities by promoting healthy living, youth development, and social responsibility. Our free 12-week program provides a welcoming environment for individuals seeking to rebuild their strength and energy after treatment. Participants enjoy a comprehensive experience that includes twice-weekly classes led by certified instructors skilled in cancer care, as well as full access to YMCA facilities, child watch services, and a supportive community. Our goals focus on enhancing self-esteem, building muscle mass, improving flexibility, and developing sustainable fitness habits for long-term well-being. LIVESTRONG at the YMCA is here to support survivors on their journey to a healthier, more fulfilling life.
