Baby Steps

Located in Roslindale, MA, Baby Steps is dedicated to supporting the growth and development of former premature infants and those with complex newborn histories. Operating under the Division of Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrics at Boston Medical Center, our multidisciplinary team consists of a developmental and behavioral pediatrician, occupational therapists, and two specialized dietitians who work collaboratively to provide comprehensive developmental evaluations and nutritional assessments. We strive to empower families by connecting them with community-based services through our dedicated family outreach advocate. Our tailored services include developmental evaluations, nutritional guidance, and ongoing follow-up to ensure the best support for children facing feeding challenges and weight gain issues. Our dietitian provides personalized home visits to assess feeding interactions and create individualized feeding plans, along with the option of structured feeding assessments for those who need specialized attention.
