At the Food Pantry in Reading, MA, we are committed to providing essential food assistance to individuals and families in need, including low-income households, single parents, senior citizens, unemployed individuals, disabled veterans, and the working poor. Our mission is to ensure that everyone has access to nutritious food to meet their basic dietary needs. Each week, one person from a family can receive food, and as we adapt to ongoing challenges, we focus on safety by pre-bagging all food items for minimal contact. Clients are kindly asked to wait outside and maintain a safe distance while forming a line to receive their pre-bagged groceries. We encourage everyone to bring reusable bags for easier transport, reflecting our dedication not only to immediate assistance but also to sustainable practices within our community.
