Women, Infants and Children (WIC)

Women, Infants and Children (WIC) in Plymouth, MA, is a compassionate nutrition program dedicated to supporting the health of families by providing free access to nutritious food and vital services for those who qualify. Focused on pregnant and breastfeeding women as well as children under the age of five, WIC offers a wealth of resources including nutritious food, expert nutrition and breastfeeding support, and essential educational workshops. Additionally, we connect families to vital referrals for medical and dental care, health insurance, child care, housing, and fuel assistance. Enrollment is simple; families receiving TAFDC, SNAP, or MassHealth Standard (Medicaid) are automatically income eligible, and foster children under five are welcome too. We actively encourage fathers, grandparents, stepparents, and other caregivers to get involved in our program, attend workshops, and utilize WIC benefits, reinforcing the essential role they play in nurturing the next generation.
