Women, Infants, and Children (WIC)

The Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) program in Plymouth, MA, is dedicated to supporting the nutritional needs of low-income pregnant, postpartum, and breastfeeding women, as well as infants and children up to five years old. Through our comprehensive food assistance services, we offer personalized nutrition and education counseling, guidance on breastfeeding, and essential supplies, including breast pumps. Participants receive a debit card that allows them to purchase healthy foods—like milk, whole grains, beans, cereals, fruits, and vegetables—that are tailored to their family's needs. Additionally, we provide vital referrals to other community resources, ensuring families have access to programs such as SNAP, housing assistance, daycare, dental care, and fuel assistance. Eligibility for WIC is streamlined for those already receiving TAFDC, SNAP, or MassHealth, and foster children under five are automatically covered. Our mission is to empower families by promoting healthy food habits and connecting them with necessary resources.
