Women, Infants, and Children (WIC)

In Peabody, MA, the Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) Supplemental Food Program is dedicated to fostering healthy eating habits among low-income pregnant, postpartum, and breastfeeding women, as well as infants and children up to five years old. Our valued services include personalized nutrition counseling for families, breastfeeding support and education, and the provision of essential breastfeeding supplies. Participants receive a debit card to purchase nutritious foods like milk, whole grains, beans, cereals, fruits, and vegetables, with assistance from our knowledgeable counselors to tailor the best food package for their needs. Additionally, WIC connects families with vital community resources such as SNAP, housing, daycare, dental care, and fuel assistance. If you're receiving TAFDC, SNAP, or MassHealth, you are automatically income eligible for WIC, ensuring that all eligible families can access our important services.
