Ergon Gjika

Ergon Gjika, a passionate counselor and Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), is dedicated to assisting individuals in developing a strong sense of self and identity. He focuses on the healthy integration of life experiences, emphasizing skill development in crucial areas such as emotion regulation, distress tolerance, executive functioning, social connectedness, and interpersonal attunement. Ergon works with a diverse range of clients, including adolescents, adults, couples, and families, who face challenges related to short-term adjustment to life stressors, Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), trauma-reactive behaviors, anxiety, depression, acculturation challenges, and family system misalignment, among others. He places significant value on the therapeutic alliance between himself and his clients, which is rooted in authenticity, mutual trust, and empathy. Ergon thoughtfully integrates evidence-based and trauma-informed treatment modalities, including Attachment, Regulation, and Competency (ARC), Collaborative Problem Solving (CPS), Solution-Focused Therapy, and Family Systems Theory. With over 17 years of experience in the human service field, Ergon possesses extensive expertise in providing clinical services to his clientele in an outpatient setting.
