Davis Chandler

Davis Chandler is a dedicated Clinical Social Worker and Therapist, holding an LICSW credential and having received training at the Smith School for Social Work. They offer a range of therapeutic services, including individual, couple, and family therapy, with particular expertise in nonbinary and trans identities, alternative family structures, and issues surrounding sexuality. With a passion for addressing trauma, grief, and life transitions, Davis has extensive experience working with diverse populations, including preteens, children, teens, adults, and elders. As the co-director of Translate Gender Inc., they provide invaluable trainings and education focused on gender identity and expression, while also facilitating psychotherapy groups for trans and nonbinary individuals and their families. Davis is actively involved in supervising clinical interns and associates, ensuring that clients receive comprehensive care even during busy practice periods. Their therapeutic approach is informed by an array of modalities, including Mindfulness-Based, Compassion Focused, Trauma-Focused, and Relational therapies. Central to Davis's work is a commitment to social justice, striving to combat systemic oppression such as white supremacy, patriarchy, cissexism, and heterosexism, creating a safe and inclusive space for all clients.
