Expanded Food and Nutrition Education Program (EFNEP)

The Expanded Food and Nutrition Education Program (EFNEP) in North Dartmouth, MA, is dedicated to empowering low-income families with young children and youth up to age 18 through comprehensive nutrition education. Our mission is to provide practical, skill-based learning that fosters healthier lifestyles. Participants engage in a series of interactive small group sessions led by knowledgeable EFNEP educators from their own communities. Through these sessions, families learn vital skills related to nutrition, smart food shopping, and food safety while enjoying cooking demonstrations, food tastings, and fun physical activities. EFNEP youth also explore healthy food choices and gain hands-on experience in food preparation and fitness, ensuring that they are equipped to make informed decisions for their well-being.
