Women, Infants, and Children (WIC)

Located in Newton Center, MA, the Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) program is dedicated to supporting low-income pregnant, postpartum, and breastfeeding women as well as infants and children up to five years of age. Through our essential food assistance services, we provide comprehensive nutrition education and counseling tailored to the needs of families. Participants receive valuable breastfeeding guidance, informative materials, and necessary breastfeeding supplies, including breast pumps. Our program issues a debit card to help you purchase healthy foods, such as milk, whole grains, fruits, and vegetables, ensuring that families have access to nutritious options. Additionally, our knowledgeable counselors are here to guide you in creating personalized food packages and to connect you with resources like SNAP, housing, daycare, and more. If you are receiving TAFDC, SNAP, or MassHealth, you may be automatically eligible for WIC, including foster children under five, making it easier for families to access the support they need.
