Food Pantry

The Food Pantry at the Unitarian Universalist Church of Medford, located in Newton Center, MA, is dedicated to providing essential food assistance to a diverse community, including low-income families, single parents, senior citizens, unemployed individuals, disabled veterans, and the working poor. Our mission is to meet basic nutritional needs by offering emergency food support, allowing one person per household to receive pre-bagged food weekly. In response to COVID-19, we have implemented safety measures to minimize contact, requiring clients to wait outside while we deliver their pre-bagged bags, ensuring safety and well-being for all. We encourage clients to bring reusable bags to help with easier transportation of their food. Our focus remains on caring for those in need and fostering a spirit of community in these challenging times.
