Heather Brito

Heather Brito is a licensed mental health counselor with a wealth of experience treating stress-related disorders, anxiety, life transitions, and substance abuse. She holds a specialty certification in Trauma from Simmons College, equipping her with the skills to support individuals grappling with various traumas, abuse, tragic losses, stress, and transformative life events. Heather has successfully worked with a diverse clientele, including first responders, nurses, therapists, children, adolescents, and adults, providing a highly supportive environment conducive to deep healing and personal growth.

One of the few therapists certified in Sandplay therapy in Massachusetts, Heather offers this non-verbal therapy that allows clients to explore and integrate the complexities of their inner worlds, fostering emotional healing. Additionally, she is trained in EMDR and EMDR Equine therapy, both recognized as effective treatments for post-traumatic stress disorder. Her expertise also includes Advanced Ego State Therapy, enabling her to tailor her approach to meet each client's unique goals.
