Dr. David Fentress is a Harvard educated clinical psychologist with extensive training from Boston Children's Hospital and the Erich Lindemann Mental Health Center. He is a founding member of Psychiatric & Psychological Associates in New Bedford, MA, and currently serves as the Director of the Psychology Department at Whitney Academy, a Joint Commission accredited residential treatment center dedicated to adolescent trauma survivors. With over 30 years of experience, Dr. Fentress works compassionately with children, adolescents, adults, and families, addressing a wide array of concerns including trauma and PTSD, anxiety, depression, behavioral problems, ADHD, OCD, and Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). As a Certified Practitioner, Approved Consultant, and Training Facilitator for EMDR Therapy, he integrates this modality with Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and psychodynamic approaches.
