Women, Infants, and Children (WIC)

The Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) Supplemental Food Program in Needham, MA, is dedicated to supporting low-income pregnant, postpartum, and breastfeeding women, along with their infants and children up to five years old, by promoting healthy food habits. We provide essential services such as personalized nutrition and education counseling tailored to the needs of families, breastfeeding guidance, and educational materials, alongside breastfeeding supplies like breast pumps. Participants receive a debit card for purchasing nutritious foods, including milk, whole grains, beans, cereals, fruits, and vegetables, ensuring access to healthy options. Our caring counselors collaborate with families to develop customized food packages while also offering information and referrals to critical community programs, including SNAP, housing assistance, daycare, dental care, and fuel assistance. If you're receiving TAFDC, SNAP, or MassHealth, you're likely already eligible for WIC, bringing vital resources to you and your family during these important early years.
