Food Pantry

Located in Needham, MA, the Needham Community Council's Food Pantry is dedicated to providing essential food assistance to individuals and families in need. We operate with a unique ‘client choice’ system, allowing patrons to select their own groceries based on personal preferences and dietary requirements, ensuring that everyone receives what suits them best. Qualified clients can visit our pantry once a month for their regular supply of groceries, with specific shopping times assigned based on the alphabet for efficiency. Families with children under 18 can shop twice a month, and we also offer fresh bread and pastries on designated days. Our community-driven approach extends to grocery delivery services for eligible elderly residents and individuals with disabilities, demonstrating our commitment to accessible food resources. To utilize our services, clients need a written referral and must complete a registration and income verification process. We are here to support the Needham community with compassion and care, helping everyone access the emergency food they need.
