Food Pantry

Located in Melrose, MA, the Food Pantry at the Unitarian Universalist Church of Medford is dedicated to providing essential food assistance to individuals and families in need, including low-income households, single parents, senior citizens, unemployed individuals, disabled veterans, and the working poor. Our mission is to ensure that everyone has access to nutritious food, addressing the urgent and practical needs of our community. Each week, one person from a family can receive pre-bagged emergency food supplies to help meet their basic nutritional needs. In response to the ongoing challenges posed by COVID-19, we have implemented safety measures that include minimizing contact during food distribution by providing pre-bagged items directly outside while maintaining social distancing. We encourage clients to bring reusable bags to facilitate easier transport of their food packages. Everyone is welcome, and we are here to support you during difficult times.
