The Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) Supplemental Food Program in Medford, MA, is dedicated to enhancing the health and nutrition of low-income pregnant, postpartum, and breastfeeding women, as well as infants and young children up to five years old. We provide a range of essential services, including personalized nutrition education, breastfeeding support and resources, and access to necessary supplies such as breast pumps. Through our program, participants receive a debit card that enables them to purchase healthy foods—like milk, whole grains, beans, cereals, and fresh fruits and vegetables—tailored to meet the specific needs of their families. Additionally, our knowledgeable counselors are here to guide you and connect you with other valuable community resources, including SNAP, housing assistance, daycare options, dental care, and fuel aid. If you’re receiving TAFDC, SNAP, or MassHealth, you may qualify for our program, and foster children under the age of five are also welcome to enroll.
