Located in Mattapan, MA, the Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) Supplemental Food Program is dedicated to fostering healthy food habits among low-income pregnant, postpartum, and breastfeeding women, as well as infants and children up to five years old. Our program offers personalized nutrition education and counseling tailored to families' needs, alongside essential breastfeeding support and supplies, including breast pumps and informative resources. Participants receive a debit card to purchase nutritious foods such as milk, whole grains, beans, cereals, and fresh fruits and vegetables, enabling them to create the healthiest meals for their families. Additionally, we connect families with vital community resources, such as SNAP, housing assistance, daycare, dental care, clothing, and fuel assistance. Families receiving TAFDC, SNAP, or MassHealth are automatically income eligible, as are foster children under five. Join us in nurturing the health and well-being of the next generation.
