Community Center

At the heart of Mattapan, MA, the Community Center fosters a nurturing environment where residents of all ages can access enriching programs and services. Operated by Boston Centers for Youth & Families, we are committed to meeting the diverse needs of our community through a variety of recreational and educational opportunities. Our Teen Center is dedicated to adolescents, providing a safe space where they can connect with youth social workers, engage in social activities, and express their ideas. We offer a range of educational programming including cooking, arts and crafts, creative writing, entrepreneurship, and music, alongside vital resources like homework help and computer access. Joining our community is simple and free; by becoming a member, you gain access to our range of programs and facilities, as well as those at other City of Boston community centers. To enroll, visit us at the Roslindale Community Center or Flaherty Pool—membership applications for youth under 18 require a parent or guardian's signature.
