Meals-on-Wheels in Marlborough, MA, is dedicated to providing essential food assistance to seniors facing challenges such as illness, disability, or frailty. Our Elder Nutrition Program (ENP) delivers balanced and nutritious meals directly to those who cannot leave their homes, aiming to enhance health, reduce feelings of isolation, and promote independence among our community's older adults. Each meal adheres to dietary guidelines set for seniors, ensuring it includes no added salt and meets at least one-third of the Recommended Daily Allowance for essential nutrients. We understand the unique dietary needs of seniors and provide personalized nutrition assessments to cater to specific restrictions or allergies. A voluntary contribution of $3.00 per meal is appreciated but not necessary for receiving our services. No senior will be turned away due to financial constraints. We invite those in need to reach out for an in-home assessment to begin receiving nutritious meals tailored to support their health and well-being.
