Women, Infants, and Children (WIC)

The Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) program in Marblehead, MA, is dedicated to fostering healthy food habits for low-income pregnant, postpartum, and breastfeeding women, as well as infants and children up to five years old. Our comprehensive services include personalized nutrition and educational counseling, breastfeeding support, and access to essential breastfeeding supplies. Participants receive a debit card for purchasing nutritious foods like milk, whole grains, beans, cereals, and fresh fruits and vegetables, tailored specifically to meet the family's needs. WIC counselors are committed to connecting families with additional resources including SNAP, housing assistance, daycare, dental care, and fuel assistance, ensuring a holistic approach to health and wellness. If you are currently receiving TAFDC, SNAP, or MassHealth, you may be automatically eligible for our support. This vital program also extends eligibility to foster children under five, reinforcing our commitment to the well-being of every child and family in our community.
