Women, Infants and Children (WIC)

The Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) Program in Malden, MA, is dedicated to promoting the health and well-being of pregnant and breastfeeding women, as well as children under the age of five, by offering essential food assistance, nutrition education, and supportive resources at no cost. We provide personalized nutrition consultations, access to healthy food, and valuable breastfeeding support, all designed to empower families to thrive. WIC understands the diverse roles families play — including those of fathers, grandparents, and guardians — and actively encourages their involvement by offering workshops and resources that connect parents with each other. Families are automatically income eligible if they receive TAFDC, SNAP, or MassHealth Standard, and additional services, such as referrals to medical care and housing assistance, help ensure that every aspect of family well-being is addressed.
