Women, Infants, and Children (WIC)

The Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) Supplemental Food Program in Lynn, MA, is dedicated to fostering healthy eating habits among low-income pregnant, postpartum, and breastfeeding women, as well as children from birth to five years. By offering essential nutrition and education counseling, WIC empowers families to make informed food choices. Participants receive personalized food packages, including a debit card to purchase nutritious items like milk, whole grains, beans, cereals, and fresh fruits and vegetables. Our experienced counselors also provide breastfeeding support, educational materials, and necessary supplies, such as breast pumps. In addition to nutrition assistance, we connect families with other valuable community resources, including SNAP, housing, daycare, dental care, clothing, and fuel assistance. If you are currently enrolled in TAFDC, SNAP, or MassHealth, you may qualify for WIC, and foster children under five are automatically eligible. Together, we strive to create a healthy future for our families.
